FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Free plan, installation, methods, demos: everything people ask us before getting started.

Is FluidOps free?

Yes. The Starter & Students plan is free with no time limit, up to 2 active projects and 5 team members. You can then upgrade to a higher plan as your needs grow.

Do I need to install FluidOps?

No. FluidOps works directly online from your browser. There is nothing to install or download: just head to FluidOps and access your projects.

What's the difference between Kanban and Scrum on FluidOps?

Kanban visualizes tasks in columns and tracks their progress throughout the project. Scrum organizes work into sprints with a backlog and a goal for each cycle. FluidOps also offers a Gantt view for planning. Our Kanban vs Scrum article breaks down the choice.

Can I try FluidOps without creating an account?

Yes. The interactive Kanban, Scrum, Gantt and Analytics demos are preloaded with sample data and ready to use right away, no sign-up required.

Is FluidOps suitable for students and small teams?

Yes: group projects, clubs and societies, university work or team projects, with a free plan to get started. See practical tips on the blog.

Does FluidOps offer progress reports?

Yes. The Reports & Analytics module tracks project progress, task distribution and team workload, by week, month or year.

How do I get started with FluidOps?

The recommended path: start with the Kanban demo to visualize the work, then discover Scrum sprints, Gantt planning and analytics. Each step naturally leads to the next — and back to the previous one.
